Look at me, let your vision stick
Gaze and gawp and stare unashamed
As if my heart cannot be maimed
As if eyes cannot cut or prick

Marvel at the floundering fool
My legs kicking against the ground
But I don’t move or make a sound
But I will drown, and play it cool

And of my hopes and ambitions?
When was the last time I progressed?
Your eyes wander have I regressed?
Your eyes note all my decisions
